“Are you constantly thinking about food? What you’re going to eat next? Scared to make the wrong choice when out to dinner? Do you struggle with your weight, or have never looked the way you wanted despite following countless diet programs? As a dietitian, so many people think that food just came easy to me. Well… it definitely didn’t! There were points in my life where I would focus on eating cleaner and exercising more, which propelled me into such a negative mindset around food. I was scared to make a wrong choice, or felt pressure that if I didn’t exercise before going out to eat that I didn’t deserve food. This way of living is NOT SUSTAINABLE, which is why I finally ditched the dieting mentality and vowed to help others find this balance while pursuing their fitness goals as a registered dietitian.” -Note from Lauren Smith
