Muffins that will actually help you GAIN MUSCLE!?!?
Let the weekend baking begin!!! Baking is one of my favorite things to do over the weekend. While some may say “you can’t eat this or that while on a weight loss program…” I definitely myth bust all these misconceptions when I whip up these HEALTHY muffins that supply HIGH QUALITY WHEY PROTEIN! Are you ready for this recipe!?
The macros on these bad boys are AHHHMAZING? Just ONE of these packs 81 calories, 10 grams carbs, 8 grams protein, 2 grams fat, & 1.2 GRAMS OF SUGAR PEOPLE!!?? Tell me where you can find a healthier muffin… I’M WAITING?
Here’s the recipe:
• 1 cup Kodiak Cakes whole wheat flapjack mix
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup Swerve sweetener
• 2 eggs
• 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
• 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
Because I bake so often, I decided to skip out on the chocolate chips… but they would taste sooooo good with them! To make, combine all ingredients. Whisk until combined well. Fold in dark chocolate chips if you want to. Grease muffin tin & pour in contents. Macros based on 10 muffins. Cook for ~15-20 minutes (or until done) at 350 Fahrenheit.
