It’s Spring Break Season and I’ve got three tips to help you stay fueled to soak up your week of freedom! Whether your catching the next flight to a tropical location or staying right here in JAX beach, these tips are for everyone!
Tip #1: SNACK ON THE GO
Nobody likes to be hangry on vacation! Make sure to pack some snacks to beat your hunger and stay fueled for all your adventures! Don’t be afraid to snack! If you find yourself getting hungry, allow yourself to have a snack. It is perfectly normal to snack throughout the day. What are some of my favorite snacks? Tip #2: STAY HYDRATED
Staying hydrated is key when traveling AND for spending long days soaking up the sun on the beach! Some Pro Tips…
- Drink a glass of water first thing when you wake up
- Water before Coffee! Fun fact.. Coffee can easily dehydrate you if your water intake has been low!
- Carry a reusable water bottle EVERYWHERE! I never go anywhere without my Hydroflask!
- Water First, Alcohol Second! If consuming alcoholic beverage make sure you are also providing your body with half your body weight in ounces of water!
Tip #3: STAY ACTIVE
Okay, I know what some of you are thinking… “it’s Spring Break I really just want to lounge on the beach with a margarita in my hand and do nothing!!” Totally not bashing that at all! In fact.. That sounds like a great plan to me! BUT I also know that I often feel ten times better about my down time, when I’ve gotten a sweat in! So, whether that’s a walk on the beach or around your travel destination, get out there and get moving! OH and then order that margarita!
